Imagine you have 100 AI tokens to create a marketing text. How would you spend them? Here’s how I’d split mine — without overthinking:
15 — Understanding the task
55 — Research and deep knowledge
25 — Crafting the story
5 — Polishing the text
The most underestimated part? Research. I see people skip it all the time. But it’s where most of the value is. One run of my AI agent costs around $0.02–$0.05. If I’m willing to spend $20 — or even $200 — for a truly great text, most of that budget would go to research.
Here’s the catch with AI agents. Even though AI “knows everything,” they start from scratch every time. No kidding. Every. Single. Time. Crazy, especially in my case, since I work across a handful of recurring topics.
So here’s the idea:
What if the agent built up context and knowledge in the background over time? No, it’s not about your XXL Google Doc with years of corporate history. Imagine it reading news, following thought leaders, studying industry trends — continuously. Then, when you give it a task, it doesn’t start from zero. It already knows the world you’re working in.
