Trend of the week: On-Demand Flowers

As seen on Garden Trends Report.

There is one trend report that you have to read this week, and it is “Garden: From Crisis to Innovations”. In a way, it’s about gardening, but it’s so much more. After all those voice assistants, blockchains, and metaverses, this is a completely different take on predictions. Same smart and data-driven, uniquely beautiful. It’s just life well-captured.

Where else in the world you will find a trend “On-demand flowers” starting with a note: “Flowers are the new hugs”?! Scientific research from Boston University’s School of Public Health shows that depression rates had more than tripled since March 2020. Giving and receiving flowers, in the opposite, trigger feel-good hormones. Our appreciation for their healing powers is growing. The trend reveals itself in fresh flower sales soaring and the rising interest in sharing gardens.
